Description:

This course is limited to 20 students. It is designed for the individual that wants to develop their gun handling skills. The 110 course begins with classroom presentations that address basic firearms skills and introduction of rudimentary tactical concepts. New methodology is discussed and demonstrated. The course then proceeds to the range to develop skills and techniques that were presented in the classroom. Concepts such as tactical mindset, identification of cover, immediate action drills, reloading techniques, and weak and shooting are a few examples of the topics that will be addressed. Requirements: Students will be required to bring their own hearing and eye protection, serviceable weapon, belt, holster, flashlight, and a minimum 400 rounds of ammunition. Those students who are qualifying with semi-automatic pistols will be required to also bring two extra magazines.
